The Program: Discovering a whole new world at the Korean Language Education Center
KLEC has four terms annually. Each term lasts for three months, beginning in the spring, summer, fall, and winter.All applicants must have completed high school or a recognized equivalent before beginning a semester at KLEC.
- KLEC provides four terms per year; Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
- A term is 10 weeks in duration. Students will receive 180 hours of language training per term.
- Classes will be held on weekday for 3½ hours per day (09:00-12:30 or 13:30-17:00).
- KLEC's qualified staff will do their best to place students within the appropriate difficulty level based on standardized level testing.
- Class size is expected to be approximately 15 students per class.
- Students are required to attend a minimum of 144 hours per term in order to complete the course. Should a student be unable to attend the minimum amount of hours, he or she may be required to retake the course in order to pass.
- Completing four full terms at KLEC is the equivalent of 6 academic credits at Korea Aerospace University.
